Woo-Hoo!

Adalie has really been wanting to sit up recently. Tonight she was sitting up all propped up on her little arms. We finally stuck the boppy behind her so that when she fell backwards, she didn't clock the back of her head. I think all of these pictures show her without the boppy. She got to practice not falling over and seemed quite content to just be sitting up. We are very excited for what is to come, though we're not quite ready to let go of the pre-mobile stage.

This one is my favorite - she's not really sitting - more
folded in half. But it's such a cute expression on her
face.

Fun Pictures

These are the rest of the pictures so I'm caught up for tomorrow when she turns 5 months. :-)

Addi on the counter.

Adalie loves this book. She gets it stuck on her face
and then throws it off.

This is what Addi looks like when she's done being
on her tummy.

This is how she looks 5 seconds later when
she's distracted by something.

So much smiling

Sitting Up

It's kind of dark, but this is the first time she sat up all by
herself.

First of November

Ok,

So, I realize that I've been a bit delinquent about writing in the blog. We've had an awesome virus hanging out at our house. I (Nicole) got sick around the first of October. Sandy jumped on the train two weeks ago. I'm hopeful that by January, we'll have gotten through it. Here are some of the great pictures from the last few weeks. Hopefully, I'll be able to upload some of the great video we have.

Yeah, momma was trying to put her pants on, and
managed to get both legs into one pant-leg. Still cute.

Oh, so smiley.

Sitting up all by herself - don't worry, we were
right there.

I'm working to get a profile picture. This
is the best we could do at the time.

She really likes to fall asleep sitting up.

Sitting on Papa. Look at that great posture.

Just about done playing.

It's amazing how quickly time passes now that we have Addi to watch. She has changed so much in the last 4 months. Four months ago she was sleeping and eating...that's it. Now, she's much more interactive (though I'm glad she's still not mobile...that will come soon enough). Though Sandy and I have been trading a nasty, long lasting cold, we're doing just fine. We're both very much looking forward to seeing family for the holidays.

Addi's doing much better getting food to stay in
her mouth. It's very funny to watch her tongue working
so hard...backwards.

So happy to be on the counter.

On Halloween, wearing the bib that her Aunt Joy
sent to her. Yes, she loves her mummy.

For some reason, these pictures posted backwards. This is
how Addi looked after I rescued her.

This is what I saw when I walked out of the bathroom
after having heard her sqwaking. She was trapped.

Sleeping on Mama.

Adalie loves to be sitting up. She falls over alot, but
so far doesn't seem to mind.
