First first birthday

Because we were able to celebrate Adalie's first birthday with Warren and Lindsay this weekend, we thought it only appropriate that we have the classic messy cake. The problem is that Adalie is not a messy eater. She doesn't put things in her hair...most of the time. So, when we gave her this amazing cream filled cupcake from sweet life, she just licked it. Once she realized that it tasted amazing, she grabbed it and went to town. She never did get very messy; just messy enough for some good pictures. Actually, by the end, she was most focused on the frosting that got all over her hands. She kept holding up her pointer finger, looking at it and laughing. She's such a goof. I tried posting a video, but it was too big. I'll try again later.

Bathtime

After all of that birthday fun, it was definitely time for a bath. Adalie has, up until now, taken a bath in a baby tub. Seeing as she is so good at sitting up and seeing as how I didn't want her floating around in a little tub with all of that cake, she had her first bath in the big bath. She loved it and had a great time playing in all of that space. She's such a happy girl and loves to splash. Mama got pretty wet.

Adalie is now almost a year old (11 months)! We can hardly believe how quickly this time has gone. It's hard to take the time to blog these days, but these pictures are just too good to pass up. She is still so very delightful. Hopefully, I'll get a few videos posted today too. (If not, then you'll know that Addi woke up from her nap :-)

Giggle Girl

Sandy can make Addi laugh harder than anyone. In this video you will see just how funny noses can be. Adalie is a fickle laugher. The thing that makes her laugh one time may not even make her radar the next. So, we enjoy the giggles when we (Sandy) makes her laugh.

Easter

When we got home from church on Easter, we decided that we needed to get some pictures! Sandy and Addi were in sweet matching purple. I have on a purple necklace (a Christmas present from Lindsay :-) just in case you can't see it.
