Josie was born at the perfect time becaue my maternity leave ran right into summer break from school. For the last six weeks of the school year I was home with my two awesome girls instead of at work with a bunch of (other people's) awesome kids. I have loved every minute of it..even the hard parts.
During the first four weeks of May, Addi still had preschool.
One of those week, she got to be the line leader.
She thought Josie would also like to wear her hat. Sure enough, she was right.
She love to hold Josie so much
But what she loves even more is making silly faces
Mother's Day weekend is the annual Walla Walla Balloon Stampede.
For the last several years, the wind has blown just right
so that the balloon land in the fields surrounding my parents neighborhood.
They moved this year, so now the balloons basically land in their backyard!
Driving to mom and dad's
A balloon right above their tree
Addi had a blast seeing the balloons, though she was not thrilled
with the teams taking them down. She stood at the fence
and yelled, "Why are you taking them down? Can you hear
me? I'm right here."
The two faces of Josie....awake...barely
Asleep
We decided to make a "practice" cake for Addi's birthday.
Really, just an excuse to make cake.
We decided to decorate it with sprinkles from Nana.
It turns out that the sprinkle holes were HUGE
So, she made a pile of sprinkles and each bite
was colorful and crunchy :-)
Addi drew a picture of me...obviously
One of my favorite videos...I wish I had kept the camera
running longer.
Josie sleeping just like her sister used to
Best new toy ever
